CONTEXT Following a leadership transition at Wayne County Public Library (WCPL), the new director and assistant director partnered with LGWI to assess workplace culture and develop foundational organizational elements including a mission statement and core values. This initiative aimed to strengthen employee morale while establishing a collaborative approach to library operations that prioritizes staff input.
