| FINDINGS | The Pre-Survey focus groups helped inform and tailor the workplace climate survey. Based on employee perspectives LGWI recommended actions county leaders could take, based on the employee feedback, to improve the employee experience. This process was repeated in 2023 to see if employee perspectives shifted after changes were implemented. |
| OUTCOMES | Based on the 2021 findings and recommendations LGWI presented, Guilford County implemented targeted interventions such as forming employee committees, enhancing communication channels, revising pay and benefits, and increasing staffing and technology support. Between 2021 and 2023, Guilford County saw measurable improvements in 16 workplace climate indicators, including increased employee voice, reduced burnout, and higher pay satisfaction. |
